Privacy Policy
Effective date: March 31, 2026
This policy is written for Rich Cat and aligned with Disrupttica’s broader privacy posture, especially around software operations, service providers, AI features, user rights, and U.S. privacy-law disclosures.
1. Who this notice applies to
This Privacy Policy describes how Disrupttica LLC collects, uses, stores, shares, and otherwise processes personal information in connection with Rich Cat.
It applies to information collected through the Rich Cat website, product interfaces, beta access flows, support interactions, uploads, integrations, AI-assisted experiences, and related communications.

3. Information we collect
We may collect information you provide directly, such as your name, email address, profile details, household information, motivation prompts, support requests, uploaded files, notes, tasks, goals, budgets, expenses, and manually entered financial data.
We may collect information from connected services you authorize, such as financial institutions and infrastructure providers, including transaction data, account metadata, institution details, balances, sync events, and related records.
We may also collect technical and usage information such as device and browser data, approximate location derived from IP, logs, diagnostics, session events, clicks, page activity, feature usage, queue activity, and security events.
4. Sensitive and household-context information
Rich Cat may process information that could be sensitive in context, including financial records, household roles, shared versus private visibility choices, habits, and AI-generated inferences about workflows or planning priorities.
We process this information only as needed to provide and improve Rich Cat, maintain security, comply with law, and operate requested features.
5. How we use information
We use information to operate Rich Cat, authenticate users, support household collaboration, process uploads, power dashboards and reports, maintain security, troubleshoot problems, send service communications, improve the product, and provide customer support.
We also use information to power AI and automation features such as categorization, summaries, charts, recommendations, task suggestions, expense detection, and workflow drafting.
6. AI, automation, and service providers
Some Rich Cat features may send limited necessary data to service providers that support hosting, analytics, storage, communications, email delivery, AI models, fraud prevention, customer support, and financial data connectivity.
We work to limit data sharing to what is reasonably necessary for the feature or service involved. AI outputs may still be imperfect and should be reviewed by users before being relied on.
7. Cookies, local storage, and analytics
We may use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies to maintain sessions, remember settings like theme and layout preferences, understand product usage, protect accounts, and improve reliability and performance.
If we introduce additional consent tools or cookie banners in the future, we may update this policy and the interface accordingly.
8. How we share information
We do not sell personal information. We may share information with service providers, affiliates, advisers, auditors, authorities when legally required, or in connection with an actual or proposed merger, financing, acquisition, restructuring, sale of assets, or similar corporate transaction.
We may also share information within your selected household context according to the visibility controls and workflows you use.
9. Household visibility and private controls
Rich Cat includes shared and private visibility settings for household collaboration. We design features to respect those controls, but no system is perfect and you remain responsible for reviewing what you choose to share and how your household is configured.
If a transaction, note, or record is marked private, we intend to restrict access accordingly within the product experience.
10. Data retention
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to operate Rich Cat, maintain security, resolve disputes, comply with law, enforce agreements, and support legitimate business operations, unless a different retention period is required or permitted by law.
11. Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information. No system, service, transmission method, or storage environment is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
12. International and provider-related processing
Your information may be processed by us or our service providers in the United States and other jurisdictions. Where required, we rely on lawful transfer mechanisms and contractual protections, but data protection laws may differ across jurisdictions.
13. Your rights and choices
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to access, know, correct, delete, or obtain a portable copy of certain personal information, to withdraw consent where applicable, to opt out of certain processing where applicable, and to appeal certain request denials.
You may also update some profile, privacy, household, and visibility settings directly in Rich Cat.
14. U.S. state privacy disclosures
For residents of California and other U.S. states with applicable privacy laws, this policy also serves as a notice at collection. We may collect categories such as identifiers, contact information, commercial or transaction information, internet or network activity, approximate geolocation, professional information where relevant, uploaded content, support communications, inferences, and context-sensitive financial records.
We do not state that we sell personal information or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. If that changes, we will update this policy and any required notices or opt-out tools.
15. Marketing choices
You may opt out of non-essential marketing emails by using the unsubscribe link in the message or by contacting us.
16. Children’s privacy
Rich Cat is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
17. Third-party websites and services
Rich Cat may link to or depend on third-party websites, services, and integrations. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties, and we encourage you to review their policies.
